ZBD New Year's Hafla:

ZBD 6th Summer Day of Dance - Sunday 31st July 2011

This year’s SDOD will be a little different this year with less workshops but excitingly we will be having live music at the evening Hafla.
I am pleased to announce that Tim Garside will be playing along with Dave Murray. The opportunity to dance to live arabic music should not be missed.
There will be workshops with Akula, Alison from Stowmarket and a beginners workshop with Sarah if anyone wants to bring a friend or family to have a taste of belly dancing. I will be teaching  a series of ‘Improve a Move’ workshops throughout the afternoon.

Cafe Habibi

Watch this space for details of Cafe Habibi for the winter months – a monthly informal Sunday Night dance event

We are dancing at the following fetes this year:

• Sunday 10th July Hevengham Hall Fete
• Sunday 17th July Ufford Fun Day

Please talk to Henri or Sarah in class if you are interested in coming along to dance.

We will also be at the Genesis Fete in September as usual.

Sunday 6th September -We have been asked by the Ipswich Community Police to dance at the Cliff Lane Street Fair on 6th September in aid of EACH and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Recent events throughout the summer months included dancing at the Easton Festival and Framlingham Summer Splash, Yoxford, Felixstowe and Halesworth Carnivals, Ufford Bygones Funday and fetes at Saxmundham, Snape, Sweffling and the Genesis fete in Ipswich.
